Pros agree to play

Professional players under contract to World Championship Tennis will compete in the French, United States and Wimbledon championships next year, the International Lawn Tennis Federation said yesterday. A joint statement issued by the I.L.T.F. and W.C.T. said an agreement, thrashed out at long meetings last week at Dallas also ensured the participation of the best W.C.T. players in other traditional events, and particularly in the I.L.T.F. grand prix.
