Hoofbeats
It is a considerable time since we have had the thunder of western hoofbeats of an evening, and there will be many viewers ready to welcome the return of “High Chaparral” on Wednesday night. Thp series traces the adventures of the Cannon family in its struggle against the rigours of frontier life when it tries to establish a cattle ranch in the rugged Arizona desert of the 1870’s. Leif Erickson stars as John Cannon and Cameron Mitchell as his brother Buck. Linda Cristal, Mark Slade, Henry Darrow, Don Collier, Robert Roy and Roberto Confreres are also featured regularly.
