Freeze on fish sought
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Nov. 18. The Campaign Against Rising Prices organisation in Auckland today appealed to the Acting Prime Minister (Mr Shelton) to place meat and fish under a price-freeze. The group’s secretary (Mrs E. M. Ayo) said this afternoon that an urgent telegram had been sent to Mr Shelton, following increases yesterday In the retail price of fish, which rose by 1c to 2c a lb.
