Four bills were returned by the relevant committees and are ready to proceed with amendment. They are the Universities’ Amendment Bill, the Waimakariri River Improvement Amendment Bill, the Taupo County Council (Rates Remission) Bill, and the Auckland Regional Authority Amendment Bill. Ministers answered 10 questions. The Town and Country Planning Amendment Bill was read a second time. Urgency was then taken for the second reading of the Local Authorities (Petroleum Tax) Bill.
