Wallabies score first table tennis points
Witb the Inclusion of N. B. Radford and G. W. Makinson, Wallabies scored its first points by beating Motorways, 7-5, in the third round of the senior table tennis competition last night. Radford accounted for all three members of the veteran Motorways team and Makinson scored wins over H. Sargent and W. Cherry. Avonside I played impressively to beat Dallington, 9-3. T. Fraser was the only Avonside player to suffer defeat. A little unlucky was R. G. Hart (Dallington) as he lost to M. Burrowes and G. Rhind in advantage points in every game. University share the competition lead with Riccarton after a 10-2 win over Avonside H, while Riccarton conceeded only two matches to Selwyn.
