Archbishop criticised

(N.^.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) NAIROBI, Nov. 17. A Kenyan assistant Minister for Home Affairs, Mr Martin Shikuku, today alleged that the Archbishop of Canterbury (Dr Michael Ramsey) was not a true Christian, because he had refused to comment on an incident in South Africa, when two coloured people were removed from one of Dr Ramsey’s meetings. “His refusal to comment on the shameful incident leaves no doubt whatsoever in the mind of any Christian on earth worth the name that Dr Ramsey is not a Christian in the true sense of the word,” Mr Shikuku said. “His posting as a disciple of Christ and a preacher of the word of God is but a mockery.” Mr Shikuku urged the archbishop to preach neighbourly love to the supporters of apartheid, and to point out to them that all people were equal.
