CHICKEN AND ASPARAGUS PIE
A simple and attractive dish is chicken and asparagus pie, \yhich calls for no unusual ingredients and is quickly prepared. This recipe will serve four to five persons. You will need: 2 cups diced cooked chicken i pint thick white sauce Juice of J lemon Boz fresh cooked asparagus or 1 15oz can Salt, pepper, pinch of mixed herbs jib puff pastry Method: Roll out pastry thinly to line and cover an 8-inch pie plate. Mix chicken with white sauce, lemon juice and seasoning, and arrange ih pastry lined pan. Cover with drained asparagus. Place pastry top over and bake at 425 for 30 minutes.
