POOL PLANNING
In planning a pool emphasis should be on its size in relation to its future value. The pool should not be too shallow and too small for adults or too large to be economically maintained by the average person. A pool that is installed for a young family of 3ft to 3ft 6in deep or even shallower, may be satisfactory up to the age of 12 but becomes useless for a teen-age or adult family. The above-ground have these additional advantages not normally associa-
ted with a large swimming pool: They can be relocated either in the owner’s property or to a new house or city. It is possible to increase the depth of the large deluxe pools without changing the vinyl liner from a depth of 4ft in the centre to sft. There is a built-in safety factor of the smooth metal side of the wall making it difficult for a child to climb up and into the water or for small children to even get al view of the water.
