Determined Princess

(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) LONDON, October 27. Princess Margaret, under fire recently from fashion writers all over the world, showed her "midi” determination again today. She wore a midi coat, turban and gauntlet gloves when she arrived at Seymour Hall, London, to open the 1970 nursing exhibition. Princess Margaret toured the exhibition- before attending the inaugural lecture of the . nurses’ and midwives’ conference. Fashion writers in London have said that the Princess’s midis are dowdy, drab, dull, and downright dreary. In contrast, Fleet Street has hailed the Duchess of Kent’s appearances in the kneelength line.
