TERMS FOR N.Z.

Ambassador confident (N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, October 11. The new Ambassador of the Netherlands to New Zealand (Mr H. C. Jorissen) is confident that New Zealand will be “looked after” if Britain enters the E.E.C. On his arrival in Auckland today he said there would be some hard bargaining, particularly by France, which had her own national interests to preserve. “But I am confjdent that all the problems can be overcome.” He said the New Zealand Government had produced some extremely good notes, which gave the E.E.C. countries a clear picture of New Zealand’s situation. “It is clear New Zealand will have to expand industrially,” he said.
