The council gave no reason fori the suspension, which was fori an indefinite period. Quarry is scheduled to meet Cassius Clay at Atlanta, Georgia, on October 26, in the former world champion’s first comeback fight. The council also formally stripped Panamas Ismael Laguna of his world light-weight title and declared it vacant.
