Venue denied for meeting <N Z. Press Assn. —Copyriyht) CANBERRA, Oct. 11. Zambia has cabled the sixteenth Commonwealth Parliamentary Association conference refusing to hold next year’s conference in Zambia as scheduled, conference sources said in Canberra. The cable was reported to have given Britain’s decision to sell arms to South Africa as the reason for refusing to hold the conference. Executive members of the conference are now holding a hurried meeting to decide on a new venue; The five Zambian delegates to the conference walked out of the conference last Friday and left Australia when they found the Zambian flag was missing outside Parliament House. It was at first thought the flag had been cut down, but authorities later said it had blown down in high winds. J The Zambians said that they had been “insulted” by the incident.
