Replies still coming

Sheree Webb, the Lobum schoolgirl who by Wednesday had received 97 replies from Malaysia and Singapore only six days after advertising for a pen-friend in a Singapore magazine, found another 31 in the mail-box on Friday. The letters so far have all been by airmail, and she can only guess at how many are following by sea. Her father, Mr F. E. Webb, said that the most popular interests listed by the writers were stamp and coin collecting, sport and music. Sheree has so far been able to pass on 30 prospective pen-friends to her school friends, but anyone wishing to get in touch with one may write to her at Loburn, No. 2, R.D., Ranglora.
