Jumbo jet mishap
Eight of the 16 tyres on a Pan American Boeing 747 jumbo jet airline burst as the aircraft landed today, stranding it in the middle of a runway and forcing Tokyo Airport to close for more than two hours. There were no injuries to the 266 passengers and 20 crew members aboard the airliner, which was on a flight from . Honolulu.— Tokyo, October 11.
