CRIPPLED CHILDREN
Conference to be held The two-day biennial conference of the New Zealand Crippled Children Society will be opened by the Minister of Health (Mr D. N. McKay) in Wellington on Wednesday. Papers will be presented to the conference by the medical superintendent of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Rotorua (Dr B. S. Rose), end Mr S. Rowley, executive officer of the Auckland Disabled Persons’ Placement Board, who recently returned from a Churchill Trust Fellowship study tour overseas. Other speakers will be the Dominion president, Mr J. E. Greenslade (Palmerston North), the national secretary, Mr P. Carroll (Wellington), and the national service advisor, Mr A R. Kerse.
One delegate from each of the 20 branches, plus another delegate for every 250 crippled children on he branch register will attend the conference.
