Drug offences in U.K.
Convictions in BriUin for drug offences—mostly involving the "soft” drug cannabis —almost doubled last year, according to Home Office figures. But the number of cases of heroin addiction in the period dropped to less than 500, compared with over 2000 recorded in the previous year.—London, September 20.
