DEVASTATED CAMPING SITE.—An aerial view of a wrecked camping site on the mainland near Venice after it was hit by a cyclone. Thirty-eight persons were killed and 270 injured in the Venice area. The cyclone flattened 100 lime trees and the camping tents and bungalows, which housed nearly 1000 persons, mostly Germans and other foreigners.
