MASONIC BALL
Visitors from most parts of Canterbury attended the Grand Masonic Ball held at the Winter Garden last evening. Specially invited guests included Mr L. C. H. Suckling, Provincial Grand Master, and Mrs Suckling; Mr D. A. Munro, District Grand Master, and Mrs Munro; and Mr and Mrs E. B. E. Taylor. Members of the organising committee included the following:—Messrs R. M. Rountree (president), S. C. Williams (secretary), W. Ruddiman (treasurer), J. Tyler, W. Yorke, W. Thompson, B. J. Burnett, C. C. Cottam, J. A. Mclnness, A. Hannah, J. Butterick, H. Hounsell, and J. Edwards.
