Continuation of fast
Today marks the beginning <sf the sixth week of fasting for Mrs Sue Taylor in her protest against the Vietnam war.
She broke her fast for three days when her father died because she could not stand the emotional strain without some nourishment, she said.
1 She has lost two stone in ' weight and her diet still con- ’ sists mainly of fruit and ' vegetable juices. Lately she ' has been drinking more liver and kidney juices. Unlike her brother-in-law, Dr Stephen Taylor, of Auckland, who fasted in Albert Park. Mrs Taylor fasts in her own home while still cooking and caring for her husband and three children. '
