Hot and cold Fneals, wines, spirits and lager will be served in the buffet car. Hostesses in smart "transit red" uniforms will attend to the needs of passengers. The trains will be carpeted throughout, with controlled temperature and fluorescent lighting. The accent will be on passenger comfort and service. Staff of a minimum age of 20 years are wanted at Christchurch and Invercargill. HOSTESSES should be of pleasant disposition and appearance, preferably with: Training in first aid; Experience in dealing with the public; A good general knowledge of New Zealand. WOMEN COOKS should have experience in catering for large numbers at restaurant or hotel level.
