Has been asked to assist with the following Appointment. FIELD OFFICER-FLU (Male or Female) VOLUNTEER SERVICE ABROAD Up To SF4OOO P.A. The growth of VSA activities in the Pacific Islands has created the need to appoint a Field Officer. He is concerned with the well-being of 100 volunteers, evaluaation of assignments, initial orientation courses for volunteers and co-ordinating assignments with employing authorities. Substantial travel within the Pacific area is involved. The Field Officer will require an unusually high level of devotion to the welfare of people in a developing multi-racial society. There would need to be a strong vocational commitment. EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Teaching, welfare or social service work would be appropriate. University entrance is a minimum but tertiary qualifications would be preferred. AGE: Preferably in the 30-50 year range. SALARY AND CONDITIONS: SFiji 3500-4000 p.a. is envisaged.
