WE HAVE A vacancy in our acid plant, Awatoto, four miles south of Napier, for a Shift Engineer for watchkeeping duties. Minimum qualification required is a Third Marine Certificate. The company operates three 110 ton per day Simon-Carves acid plants to which are attached boilers operating at 235 P.S.I. and two turbo-alterna-tors. Shifts consist of eight-hour periods worked on a five man roster system. Wages are as per agreement with the NZ.
