Week-end Viewing
Among the highlights of viewing this week-end is the first of the "Personality Squares” programmes from Auckland, with Les Andrews the compere of a quiz programme which won popularity last year. This show comes after the news tonight, and it is followed by “Musiquest ’70,” the finals of the $lOOO talent quest at the New Zealand Industries Fair.
“The Devil’s Disciple” promises to be a better-than-average film (Kirk Douglas, Burt Lancaster, Sir Laurence Olivier) and later there are highlights from the Ranfurly Shield Rugby match at Lancaster Park.
The audience for the third Rugby test film on Sunday afternoon may not, in the light of known events, be as wide as it was for the first two. The impressive 8.8. C. documentary "Civilisation” reached its third stage in early evening, and so does the story of Max Osborne in “A Man of Our Times."
