Temporary Relief
(N.Z. Pre„ A««oc(ation> WELLINGTON, Sept. 3. The Government intends to grant private superannuation funds some temporary relief from the requirement to invest part of their funds In the public sector if they have to liquidate commercial loans to do so, the Minister of Finance (Mr Muldoon) told Parliament today. Replying to a question from Mr R. J. Tizard (Lab., Pakuranga), Mr Muldoon said that the funds had five years to meet the full ratio. Provision would be made for the ratio to be eased in gently, he said.
