Ima Martian Sixth
(N.Z. Press Association) SYDNEY. The Hawke’s Bay galloper, Ima Martian, ran a fair race in the first start of his Australian campaign at Randwick on Wednesday. Ima Martian, trained by T. Smith, started in the Glenbrook Handicap over a mile and finished sixth in a field of 13. The gelding was handily placed at the turn but gave in on the run to the judge. He is certain to be improved by the run.
