Friesians For Australia

Twenty Friesian cattle from Canterbury herds are included in a sizeable consignment of livestock which is bound for Australia from Wellington in the Marama today. The cattle were purchased by a party of Australians who visited New Zealand in June.

Accompanying the cattle will be Mr W. H. Jackman, senior stud stock officer for the New Zealand Farmers’ Co-operative Association of Canterbury. He plans to visit studs in New South Wales and Victoria and attend the Adelaide Royal Show during a 10-day visit to Australia.
