AWARDS FOR BRAVERY
Three medals for gallantry in Vietnam have been awarded to members of the New Zealand Army, the Governor-General (Sir Arthur Porritt) announced yesterday. The Military Cross has been awarded to Lieutenant Brian Edward Hall, Royal New Zealand Infantry Regiment, of Waiouru. Captain William Bevil Flanagan, Royal New Zealand Armoured Corps, of Waiouru, is to receive the Distinguished Flying Cross. The Distinguished Conduct Medal has been awarded to Sergeant Tamati Henare Tuhiwai, Royal New' Zealand Infantry Regiment, of Waiouru. (Citations: Page 18.)
