VAM’s Plans VAM, Ltd, will ask shareholders for approval to re; duce the capital of the company by reducing the share premium reserve account from $14,279,636 to $14,160,268. The reduction, if approved by members, will be effected by distributing 2.387,364 fully-paid 5c New England Antimony Mines NL shares to VAM shareholders registered on September 18. The company also intends extending the period of the options due to expire on October 30 to October 30, 1972.
A. V. Jennings A. V. Jennings Industries (Australia), Ltd, lifted profit by 15.1 per cent in the year to June 30. Net profit for the year was $1,776,048. compared with $1,542,298 last year, after tax (at new rates) of $1,652,413. Tax last year was $1,512,001. Founder Returns Mr Bernard Cornfeld and Investors Overseas Services (1.0.5.) settled their dispute with an announcement that Mr Cornfeld would end his proxy fight to regain control of the financial organisation he founded and would be reinstated as a member of its executive committee.
