Under 12 Team For Soccer
Five Canterbury players won selection in the representative side selected after the South Island under 12 tournament at Blenheim. Chosen by Mr G. Roberts, the team was:— D. Austin, P. Bennie, M. Fulham, R. Mulligan. K. Pascoe (Canterbury): R. Kolk. P. McEntyre, S. Pokere (Southland): S. Haggerty, R. Hamilton. M. O’Sullivan (Otago); G. Carr, C. Chisholm (Nelson); T. Evers (Marlborough). Canterbury won the tournament.
