INJURED IN ACCIDENTS

Three persons were admitted to Christchurch hospitals yesterday after motor accidents. Murray Couling, a boy, of 86 Centaurus Road, suffered head injuries when his cycle and a car collided at the intersection of Colombo Street and Brougham Street about 11.50 a.m.

Miss Lynsia Beatrice Pitt, care of Randolph Downs. Amberley, suffered internal injuries and shock when two cars collided in Bassett Street, New Brighton, about 5.50 p.m. Couling and Miss Pitt were admitted to Princess Margaret Hospital where their condition last night was satisfactory. Christine Hogwood, of 72 Wainui Street, was admitted to Christchurch Hospital with leg injuries after her motor scooter and a car had collided in Waimairi Road about 7.15 p.m. Her condition last evening was satisfactory.
