(N Z. Press Association) INVERCABGILL. Southland ended the Wellington Rugby team’s unbeaten run on its South Island tour with a convincing, 23-14 win yesterday. M. Mitchell, R. E. Burgess and T. W. Keelty scored tries for Southland and D. A Nicol kicked four penalties and a conversion. For Wellington, L N. Stevens got a try and J. F. Karam a dropped goal, two penalties and a conversion.
