The Committee proposes that these awards shall be to promote the development, servicing and efficiency of the sheep and wool industry, for the general benefit of the public of ?Jew Zealand. Applications are invited for grants to assist individuals to engage in research or make some other positive contribution in the production, processing or marketing fields of the sheep and wool industry. Grants may also be made to aid research or development programmes being conducted by organisations. The value of each award shall be determined separately and on such conditions as the Committee decided. In the case of individuals awards shall not exceed $5OOO and shall not be made to assist with Masters’ Degrees or Ph.D. courses, save in exceptional circumstances approved by the Committee.
