"So far the Committee has in tfie exercise of its discretion uhder the Trust Deed concentrated on awards which would a[d research and education in tlje production, processing and j marketing of wool, the general ( development and improvement ■ of the sheep and wool industry • aad the promotion of this primary industry for the national benefit and advantage. The Committee has now de- , elded to establish scholarships to further the above objects with special reference to the manufacturing aspects of the sljeep and wool industry. These scholarships are normally to be available to persons between 19 apd 27 years of age who are already employed in the industry and are to assist them to undertake further study or to obtain practical experience at some Institution (academic, commercial or otherwise) approved by the Advisory Committee.
