Czechs Quash Scouting
(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) PRAGUE, August 26. Czechoslovakia will liquidate its Scout organisation, Junak, on September 1, apparently because the Com-munist-run Young Pioneer organisation could not compete with it. Junak, revived in 1968 after being dissolved during the Stalin era, would be integrated into a new youth organisation, presumably an expanded version of the Pioneers, the North Bohemian regional party daily newspaper, “Pruboj,” said.
