Cholera Meeting Proposed
(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) JERUSALEM, August 26. The Israeli Minister of Health, Mr Victor Shem-Tov, yesterday invited the ministers of health of the neighbouring Arab countries, Iran and Cyprus, to meet him on neutral territory to discuss joint measures to combat the spread of cholera in the area.
Mr Shem-To'v was speaking at a press conference in Jerusalem yesterday. He said that he had made the offer through the World Health Organisation. Syria’s Health Minister, Dr A. Daoud Riddawi, has called for a meeting of his Arab counterparts in Damascus on Thursday to discuss the cholera outbreak. Kuwait’s Under-Secretary In the Ministry of Health, Mr Youssef Jassem Al Ahjji, has said that he would attend. Israeli radio said that a Jewish man and an Arab
