Drainage Bd Contracts
A tender of $68,247 by British Pavements (Canterbury), Ltd, has been accepted by the Christchurch Drainage Board for the second section of the Amyes Road sewer outfall project. The section is between Shands Road and Witham Street. ' The successful tender was the lowest of seven. The highest was $92,227. Waddell Construction, Ltd, gained the contract for the fourth section of the Waltham area stormwater relief scheme Kingsley, Gasson and Brisbane Streets. The tender of $133,431 was the lowest of three. The others were for $177,239 and $199,323.
The company also gained the Port Hills Road sewer reticulation contract east of Scruthons Road, with a tender of $21,227. Three other tenders ranged to $40,110.
