His efforts will be directed primarily to obtaining membership for the association from business firms, organisations and private individuals, who are prepared to give practical support to South Island development. - This appointment will appeal to a retired businessman, or to an active younger man who is experienced in meeting people and able to inspire enthusiasm and membership support for worthwhile objectives. These duties could be combined with bther selling work around Christchurch and Canterbury. Liberal commissions, travelling and other allowances will be paid.
