(From Out Own Reporter) GREYMOUTH, Aug. 24. The Greymouth Competitions Society s fifty-sixth annual festival opened this morning with a record entry of 1500, 300 more than last year. The dancing section is being held in St Columba Hall and the vocal and instrumental section in Wesley Hall. The judges are:—Speech, Mrs Janet Cooke (Nelson); vocal and instrumental, Mr D.
