WEATHER MAP
The ban on shift work by the Civil Aviation Division staff at Christchurch Airport prevents "The Press” from obtaining the 6 p.m. weather map from the Meteorological Office at the airport Last evening the weather map, as supplied by the Meteorological Office in Wellington, where the ban is not in force, was received by wire from the "Dominion” and appears in the usual place on the leader page. The 6 pun. and 11 p.m. observation figures, which are normally printed below
the weather map, are not available at night but for the duration of the ban will be obtained the ..-xt day and printed a day »•«.
