Actor’s Health Improves
The condition of the Negro entertainer, Sammy Davis, jun., was reported today to be much improved. He is being treated in Sunrise Hospital, Las Vegas, for pneumonia. Mr Davis was taken to the hospital in an ambulance on Sunday, given oxygen and put under observation.—Las Vegas, Aug. 24.
