A three-bedroomed house tn Slater Street, Shirley, was passed in at $6OOO when it was offered by auction yesterday. The house, which has a Government valuation of $5OOO, is on a 26-perch section. It was offered by Messrs G. Anderson and Son, Ltd, the auctioneer being Mr G. Anderson.
The Wellington Coroner (Mr J. Meltzer) has been appointed by the GovernorGeneral (Sir Arthur Porritt), as chairman to the Chiropractic Board. —(P.A.)
