Promise To College
The Friends of Te Wai Pounamu agreed at a meeting on Saturday to contribute $2OOO to Te Wai Pounamu College. The Friends resolved that they had “every confidence” in the continuing work done by the college, and that if the college were to continue, the funds standing to the Friends’ credit —to the amount of not less than $2OOO —should be put to the college council’s disposal for use over a period of five years.
