Teachers Meet
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, August 23. About 160 representatives from 80 branches of the New Zealand Educational Intitutc met in Wellington today to discuss what steps to take on the teachers’ « wage claim. The meeting was addressed by the secretary-general of the World Teacher Association (Mr J. Thompson) and a representative of the New South Wales Teachers’ Federation, Mr F. Clarke. The bulk of the day’s proceedings was held in committee. The representatives will meet again on Monday.
