INVERCARGILL, August 21. Good super crutchings in the first wool sale of the 1970-71 season in Invercargill today sold at firm rates, but . the market was 21 per cent easier for average and otherstyle crutchings, the official report said.

“The market was inclined in buyers’ favour for fleece types, 48/50’s and finer,” said the report “It remained unchanged for other fleece wool and skirtings, and inclined in sellers’ favour for second-shear wool. The market remained firm for all other oddments.”
