Just William (R. Grantham) drew well clear of Mr Sin (J. Waaka) tn the concluding stages of six furlongs in Im in 22sec, the last three In 42 2-ssec. Mr Sin had a big weight. He i« fit for his steeplechasing debut in the Carter Steeplechase, and he has schooled very well over country. Mr -Spy (B. Kirke) and Caries (R. Marsh) ran easily over five furlongs in Imin 6 4-ssec, the latf three in 39 4-fisec. Mr Spy is in the Barber Hack Handicap but though he is fit, he has drawn very badly, Carlos revelled in the wet ground. Dev ante (D. Thomas) ran half a mile alone to Msec,' the W three in 39sec. This was an excellent trial. She is forward and could give a good account of herself in the Robinson Handicap. Tosh <R. Mar»h) and Welloourt (B. Kirke) were impressive running six furlongs in Im in 20 2-5 sac. the last three in 40 3-5 sec. Tosh reveHed in the ground and should be hard to beat in the Price Hack Hurdles. Welloourt could be a threat in the Margin Hack Handicap. Frigate (L. Carsten) and Golden Mica (K. Puttee) ran , five furlongs In Imin 0 2-ssec. ; the last three in 40 2-*»ee. This

was another good trial. Private and Golden Mica are tn the Barber Hack Handleap, but the trainer. T. McNeil, said yesterday that Golden Mica was not likely to run.
