Just William (R. Grantham) drew well clear of Mr Sin (J. Waaka) tn the concluding stages of six furlongs in Im in 22sec, the last three In 42 2-ssec. Mr Sin had a big weight. He i« fit for his steeplechasing debut in the Carter Steeplechase, and he has schooled very well over country. Mr -Spy (B. Kirke) and Caries (R. Marsh) ran easily over five furlongs in Imin 6 4-ssec, the latf three in 39 4-fisec. Kirke) were impressive running six furlongs in Im in 20 2-5 sac. the last three in 40 3-5 sec. Tosh reveHed in the ground and should be hard to beat in the Price Hack Hurdles. Welloourt could be a threat in the Margin Hack Handicap. Frigate (L. Carsten) and Golden Mica (K. Puttee) ran , five furlongs In Imin 0 2-ssec. ; the last three in 40 2-*»ee. This
