225 Apply For Medical School
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, August 18. A total of 225 applications has been received for the 60 places available in the Auckland Medical School next year. About 30 per cent are girls. The applicants will be interviewed after the secondary school examinations in December, but final selection will not be possible until the results are known in January of the entrance scholarships and bursaries examinations.
