D.R.G. Sales Increase

(N.Z. Press Association/ WELLINGTON, August 18. The group turnover of D.R.G. (New Zealand), Ltd, for the half year to June 30, shows a satisfactory Increase over the corresponding period last year. Trading profit* showed a smaller rate of increase because of the significant effect of the higher cost of materials and other operating costs, and there is some concern that with the certain continuation of this trend and the introduction of non-deductible payroll tax, the rate of increase will not be easy to maintain. The net profit after taxation and including dividends from associated companies is also ahead of last year, the interim reports says.
