National Youth Committee
The Rev. N. T. Creighton, a young Presbyterian minister was appointed to his second term as chairman of the National Council of Churches’ Youth Committee at its annual meeting in Christchurch at the week-end. Other officers are:— Vice-chairmen, Miss A. Price (Methodist), Rev. R. Bellingham (Baptist), treasurer, Mr B. Clarke; auditor, Mr C. R. Hasseldine; secretary, Miss N. Smith; standing committee, Mesdames J. Kennington (Young Women’s Christian Association), R. Smith (Society of Friends), Misses B. Pettet (Girl Guides), M. Gargiulo (Salvation Army). C. Fleming (Anglican), Rev. J. North (Baptist), Rev. Bellingham, Captain R. Smith (Salvation Army), Messrs P. Calder (Anglican), J. Smith, F. Johnson (Methodist), R. Saaders (Congregational and Boys’ Brigade), C. McLeod, (Student Christian Movement), T. Ganley (Young Men’s Christian Association), I. Bathurst (Scouts).
