Akaroa Plan The environmental plan : for the whole of Akaroa township and contiguous areas is on display at the Canterbury Building Centre in Cashel Street The plan is also on display at Jeanne’s Coffee House in Akaroa, but the Akaroa Civic Trust felt that as about 50 per cent of the property owners in Akaroa lived in Christchurch it should be displayed. Forms for comments are available at the building centre. The proposal is that the environmental plan will be included in the Akaroa County Council’s district planning scheme which must be completed by January.
