"The Press” Special Service INVERCARGILL.

Broodmare owners who had mares booked this season to Kurdistan, which died at the Chelandry Stud, Southland, last week, will have the opportunity to serve them with the top Chelandry Stud sire, Lomond, at the same fee.

Mr W. E. Hazlett, owner of the Chelandry Stud, said yesterday a number of mares had been booked to Kurdistan.

Lomond’s stock were greatly in demand at the South Island bloodstock sale on Monday when a two-year-old filly from Geysel brought $4700 and a yearling filly from Golden Boa $4OOO.
